As of now, SND has changed our domain name from snd.gu.se to the simpler snd.se. We do this to clarify our role as a national infrastructure for research data.
“We want there to be no doubt for our target audience that SND is for all of Sweden's universities and researchers,” says Johan Fihn Marberg, Head of IT at SND.
However, if you still type snd.gu.se, it's absolutely no problem. Even though the domain is no longer in use, visitors will be automatically redirected to the new domain snd.se.
“If you have the old domain bookmarked, it will still work for a very long time to come. Probably for another 20 years or so,” says Olof Olsson, IT architect at SND.
If you, your organization, or your university have linked to SND anywhere, we ask you to please update the links to our new domain snd.se.
