Kick off for the project ”Research data within the Humanities and Fine Arts – open access?” took place at SND on Monday 16th November. The aim of the project is to increase the availability of research data within the humanities and the fine arts. Together with researchers at each respective university, the open archives at the University of Gothenburg, Linkoping University, Lund University, Malmö University and the Swedish National Data Service will examine which research data can be made available to the public and where it should be archived. The project will result in a proposal as to how it is possible to link data with publications, the relationship between the open archives and SND as well as recommendations concerning metadata etc. Concrete examples from the practical side will compliment the analysis side of the project.
