Under this heading, SND will collect information which can be used as a suppport during the whole research process. This service is under development and new material as well as information will be added continously.

One of SND's task is to provide the research community with support and services to preserve, organise, maintain and make data material available. These support and services include the participation in the investigation and information of legal and ethical aspects in respest to archiving, management and dissemination of data as well as to contribute to the technical development within SND's sphere of responsibility. An important task is to provide support and guidance to researchers regarding documentation, access to many types of data, as well as to support and encourage secondary analysis of data.
 
In addition to the above mentioned services, SND works long-term and strategic with providing guidance and counsel to researchers and university teachers, as well as to future researchers, university students, through supervision as well as information circulation on data material, research methods and cross-discipline approaches. SND's webpage is central for the spreading of information, dissemination of data as well as information on diverse types of data.
